Last night, musician El Debarge found himself in custody after encountering law enforcement.

The artist was stopped by police at a gas station in Burbank due to expired tags on his vehicle.
“
Upon inspection, officers observed an expandable metal baton in plain view, which is illegal to possess.
“
A search of the vehicle reportedly yielded pepper spray and suspected narcotics. Additionally, it was discovered that Debarge did not possess a valid driver's license.
“
As a result, he was arrested and charged with possession of a leaded cane or baton, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia

The Debarges father really did a number on that family. His molestation of them made them addicted to narcotics. They have so much talent and it has been basically obliterated due to the trauma they experienced and their reliance on drugs to cope.
