Paul Rudd Reveals His Kids “Don’t Care” That He Is Ant-Man

Paul Rudd, the well-known actor who stars as the title role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film “Ant-Man”, recently opened up about how his children view his celebrity status.

Despite his immense success in Hollywood, the 53-year-old actor shared that his kids simply see him as “just dad”, and they couldn’t care less about his on-screen persona.

In an interview with People, Paul expressed his gratitude for the opportunities that being part of the MCU has given him over the past decade.

He reflected on the journey, calling it a “wild ride” that has taken him to various countries, allowed him to meet countless individuals he never would have encountered otherwise, and has given him the chance to be part of something with such global appeal.

Moreover, Paul, who was once named Sexiest Man Alive by PEOPLE magazine in 2021, also shared that his main priority is being a dad, and he views this role as more important than any character he has played on screen.

He believes that his children should not have to worry about their dad's fame and success, and he is happy to simply be seen as a loving and caring parent.

The “Wanderlust” star also revealed that he worked out like an athlete to get into shape for the “Ant-Man” films, showcasing his dedication to his craft and his willingness to go the extra mile for his roles.

Despite all of his achievements, however, Paul remains humble, grateful, and focused on his family.
